Exhausted, Foggy, and Inflamed? Your Body Might Be Overexposed, Not Under-Supported
#208 - Exhausted, Foggy, and Inflamed? Your Body Might Be Overexposed, Not Under-Supported
Most people aren't under-supported. They're overexposed.
We're trained to look for what's missing — another supplement, a better protocol, something we haven't tried yet. Meanwhile, your body is dealing with what's already coming in, all day, every day: air, water, food, medications, products. Individually, none of it seems like much. Together, it adds up to more than we realize.
And at a certain point, your body stops keeping up quietly. It starts showing you — fatigue that doesn't fully resolve, brain fog you can't think your way out of, symptoms that improve a little but never quite go away.
In Part 1 of this series, I sit down with Dr. Joe Nieusma, a toxicologist with nearly four decades of experience studying how chemicals, drugs, and environmental exposures actually affect the human body. We get into why "safe levels" don't reflect real-world exposure, how constant low-level exposure adds up over time, and why your body is managing a cumulative load — not just isolated inputs.
He breaks down one idea so simply it sticks: your body has a finite capacity to process what's coming in, and most people are unknowingly exceeding it.
We also cover a two-part approach to actually supporting your body — how to help it clear what shouldn't be there, and how to calm the inflammation that keeps people stuck.
It's simple. But it changes how you think about energy, immunity, and aging.

Where might my body be taking in more than I’ve been aware of. Nothing you need to do, just something you want to start paying attention to.
